National Palace Museum
The National Palace Museum is one of five major museums in the world; its many collections of Chinese cultural heritages make it a must-visit tourism spot of Taiwan for foreigners. The treasured collections of the museum contain nearly the entire 5,000 years of Chinese history; most of them are the old time collections of the Chinese imperial families. The displayed articles are shifted every season, and they hold a special topic exhibition in accordance with different themes.

Shihlin Night Market
The Shihlin Night Market is the largest night market in Taipei, it integrates a various food styles whether you are looking for western steaks, Teppanyaki, spicy Szechuan dumplings, small bread wrapped in large bread, fried chicken, pig-livers soup, squid thick soup, and fried oysters, they have everything here. Besides the vast menu choices, there are all sorts of shops selling clothing, shoes, handbags, and daily use articles etc. The Shihlin Night Market is a “must see” destination for anyone visiting Taipei.

Office of the President
The Presidential Building is located at No.122, Sec. 1, Chongcing S. Rd., Jhongjheng District, Taipei City, its front gate is right across Ketagalan Boulevard, the front side (east) facing Chongcing S. Road, the rear (west) facing Boai Road, its north side is Baocing Road, and south side is Gueiyang Road. During the Japanese Occupation Period, it was built as the Governor-Generals Office (the Office of the President now) during 1906 to 1907 (MeiJi Era 39th to 40th year). At the end of WWII, the building was once attacked by a bomb resulting in serious damage. After Taiwan was restored, its was reconstructed and completed in 1946, for celebrating the 60th birthday of the former President Chiang Kai-Shek, it was re-titled to “Chieh Shou Hall”. After the Central Government moved to Taiwan, this building has been used for the office of the president, still today.

Taipei 101
The Taipei 101, approximates 508 meters tall, building cost apx. Lungshan Temple

Yangmingshan National park
The so-called “Backyard Garden of Taipei”, Yangmingshan National Park embraces affluent natural views throughout its vast area, and due to its unique geology, there are plenty of natural hot springs, so it is a perfect place for hot spring bathing. During the months of February and March, is the traditional blossoming season of Yangming park, During this time of year, various colorful pinkster flowers and Taiwan cherry blooms are all over, decorating our motherland in a naturally attractive fashion. During the autumn month of October, one can find the Japanese silvergrass blooming and swinging, and orange maple trees with their golden leaves, that interlace a famous “spectacular view of Mt. Datun”. In the winter, due to the effect of the northeasterly winds, Yangmingshan is often held by a cold wind and steady rain, the low temperature and high humility, cloudy and foggy sky, these create a unique view of the mountain; during the period of strong cold currents, you can even see snow falling on Mt. Cising, Mt. Chihsing and Mt. Datun, and make Yangmingshan to be a snow-white world.

National Chang Kai Shek Cultural Center
The National Theater Concert Hall was officially opened on October 31st 1987, it contains four performance halls. The National Theater Hall is located at Aiguo E. Road side, mainly providing the performances of the Chinese opera, western opera, modern drama, various dancing and traditional opera etc. Located on the 3rd floor of the Theater Hall, the Experimental Theater is suitable for the performance of experimental arts, or used for rehearsals, small stage, dancing, opera, or lecture courses. Located at the side of Sinyi Road, the Concert Hall is mainly used for symphony, chorus, chamber music, organ, piano, and vocal etc. And the Recital Hall located in the basement of the Concert Hall is used for smaller solo, chamber music, demonstrative performance or lecture course etc., and provides a good and comfortable interacting space for performers and audiences.

Taipei Fine Arts Museum
Located at Yuanshan, north of Taipei City, the museum is in the modern architecture style, and structured with an ambiance of space which interacts beautifully with a view of the mountains, streams, viaduct, driving paths, buildings, and passerby etc., and possess the features of an international urban design, it is an modern museum cross from 20th to 21st century, and steps from modern to contemporary. The topic collection of the museum is the modern fine arts post-20th century, in among them there are mainly Taiwanese local creations of post 1940. There are more than 3,000 collections in the museum, which are divided into categories such as sculptures, western paintings, oil paintings, ink paintings, sketches, calligraphy and handicrafts.
